STORY

Marble hornets is the story of Alex, Jay and Tim. 3 young men that are forced to a life of decay under the control of 'the operator', a slim tall creature known to wear a suit but not a face.

The story starts with alex, an audiovisual student who wants to make an independent film with the help of some friends. this movie is called 'marble hornets'.

During the production alex starts to act weird, in an erratic and schizophrenic way. alex eventually leaves the production and shuts down the project, leaving all the remaining movie tapes to his friend jay after alex himself had the intention of burning them.

Jay leaves the tapes in his closet without even looking at them. 3 years later he finds them and decides to watch them.

looking throught them he ends up encountering footage that doesn't relate to the movie alex was filming, instead, they show more of the strange behaviours alex was showing to have during that time.

then, jay suddenly notices that alex was filming something strange and unnatural, a silhouette, a slim, tall and weird entity that seemed to be stalking alex as far as the videos could show.

jay starts to post and upload the video footages to youtube and twitter as for documentary purposes. This way jay embarcs in a misterious, dangerous and unpredictable road that will lead him and everyone that sorrounds him to a more uncertain fate.

Jay

Jay is an avarage young man, he doesn't go out of home much and his biggest hobby are audiovisuals and movies, including documentaries. jay rediscovers alex's tapes in the back of his closet, after discovering the existance of the operator he decides to get to the bottom of the thing and document it all in his youtube channel.

Alex

alex, like jay, has a big hobby for audiovisuals, specially for cinematography, he starts recording his own independent movie, marble hornets, 3 years before entry 1 with help from his friends. he ends up becoming a violent person mid-way through the film production and eventually dropped it, he left the tapes to jay after he almost burn them. his actual location is unknown.

Tim

Tim was one of the Marble hornets actors, he seems to play a major role in the mistery, his actual location is unknown

A youtube user that posts videos in responses to some of the marble hornets videos. youtube channel

"Masky"

an unknown man that seems to be behind the totheark videos or meaby not, he stalks jay eventually.

The Operator

the entity behind all the misteries. cameras focusing or near him seem to start to malfunction. he's able to teleport and to mendle with people's memories and minds. not much is known from him or even his intentions.
